This year was unlike any other, and while 2020 had many lows, there is a lot we are thankful for this year! We are honored to have been nominated for 3 Daytime Emmy Awards: including Outstanding Sound Editing in a Preschool Animated Program for Storybot’s Ask the Storybots, Outstanding Sound Editing in an Animated Program for Disney’s DuckTales, as well as Nickelodeon/Netflix’s Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus.
We were also nominated for 4 MPSE Awards: including Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Non-Theatrical Animation Long Form for Nickelodeon’s Lucky and Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, Warner Brother’s Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing - Short Form Animation for Nickelodeon’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Our amazing team tackled 250+ mixes in 2020 and began editorial on 7 new shows, bringing our total number of series worked on this year to 17!
We are very lucky to have had such a busy year full of so many exciting projects, but like the rest of the world we are ready to move onto 2021 and leave 2020 behind us. We hope you have a safe holiday and happy new year!
